A bottomless portafilter is an ideal accessory for anyone seeking greater control over extraction and even better in-cup results. Its open design provides a clear view of the extraction flow, allowing you to easily assess the quality of tamping, the evenness of coffee distribution, and any irregularities during espresso preparation.
When coffee is properly ground, distributed, and tamped, a bottomless portafilter ensures even saturation of the coffee during extraction, contributing to richer aroma and excellent crema.
The product also includes a 21g filter basket, making it an excellent choice for preparing a fuller and more intense espresso.
A special advantage of this model is its modular use. With the silicone two-spout attachment and the two-cup filter supplied with your Profitec machine, this bottomless portafilter can easily be converted into a classic two-spout portafilter.
It's an excellent choice for home baristas who want to perfect their preparation technique, as well as for anyone seeking a more professional approach to preparing espresso at home.
