It's GO Time! The new Profitec GO arrives with more control, comfort, and practical details

The Profitec GO was envisioned from the start as a compact espresso machine that easily fits into small kitchens, holiday homes, offices, or living spaces. The new generation retains the same character: a small footprint, serious craftsmanship, and colors that add a personal touch to the space. However, at first glance, it's clear that the GO is now more mature, clearer, and more pleasant for everyday use.

Familiar Casing, More Modern Approach

The original GO was simple, direct, and focused on what matters most: quality extraction in a compact format. The new GO continues in the same vein but introduces a more modern interface and ergonomics that are immediately noticeable in operation.

The biggest visual change is the new OLED display solution, now positioned at the top of the front panel. The display is brighter, has higher contrast, and is significantly more readable, whether you're preparing your first morning espresso or working in a dimly lit area.

Along with the display, there are LED-illuminated extraction buttons with time measurement, a redesigned steam valve knob, and a new modular portafilter. The result is a machine that looks more contemporary but still retains the recognizable Profitec GO identity.

The OLED display offers better readability, a clearer menu, and more precise parameter control.

More Information in One Place

The transition from a classic 7-segment display to an OLED is not just an aesthetic change. The new GO displays more information at once, guides you through settings more clearly, and makes functions more intuitive. Important options are also available via practical shortcuts, making daily work faster and simpler.

For the home barista, this means less guesswork and more control: a clearer display of temperature, extraction time, and settings that affect the final result in the cup.

Single Boiler, but with a Smarter Workflow

The Profitec GO is a single-boiler espresso machine. This means that espresso and steam use the same boiler but at different temperatures. For espresso, the machine maintains a set brewing temperature, for example, 93 °C. When milk frothing is needed, the boiler temperature is raised to a higher level, for example, around 127 °C for steam.

After steaming, the GO returns to espresso mode at the touch of a button. The machine then adds cold water to the boiler, and the display shows the message "Flush". Water passes through the group until the appropriate temperature for espresso is reached again. This way, the machine quickly returns to a stable extraction mode, and the group is flushed simultaneously.

Features That Are Felt in Everyday Use

The new GO now also has a hot water function via the steam wand, which is practical for americanos or tea. There is also adjustable pre-infusion, which provides additional control over the start of extraction and can help with different coffees and grind profiles.

The machine actively warns the user when the water level is low, and an important detail is that it does not automatically stop an espresso extraction that is already in progress. This is a small but very useful difference in real-world operation.

Maintenance: Simpler and Guided Through the Machine

The long lifespan of an espresso machine depends on proper maintenance. That's why the new GO has integrated programs for automatic group cleaning and a guided descaling program. A filter can also be connected to the water tank, and the machine can activate a reminder for filter replacement according to water hardness.

This approach reduces the possibility of error and helps the user perform maintenance regularly, without complicated procedures.

New Modular Portafilter

The new GO also brings a more flexible portafilter. The modular design allows for different configurations: bottomless, with a single or with a double silicone spout. The silicone spout is lower, leaving more space between the portafilter and the cup.

This is especially useful when using different cup sizes or a scale during extraction, as the workspace is more practical and comfortable.

Two Generations, Same Character — but More Comfort

The Profitec GO remains what made it popular: a compact, well-built, and direct espresso machine for those who want serious results without taking up too much space.

The new GO is not just a visual refresh. It brings a functionally more mature package: a better display, more control, more practical maintenance, and improved ergonomics. The idea is the same, the standard is the same, but the user experience is noticeably more comfortable.

According to Profitec's announcement, the new GO will be available for pre-order from specialized dealers starting June 25, 2026, in black, blue, yellow, and red.
