The Arkel Coast is a compact dual-boiler espresso machine built for demanding home baristas who want temperature stability, powerful steam, and manual extraction control in a footprint suited to a home countertop.
Two independent stainless-steel boilers allow simultaneous brewing and steaming, while PID control and an electrically heated saturated group maintain precise temperature at the brew head. A particular advantage of the Coast is its manual flow control via a stainless-steel needle-valve system, which lets you shape the extraction from pre-infusion through the end of the shot.
The internal construction follows the same principle as the exterior design: robust and serviceable. Arkel states that the hot-water circuit contains no plastic hoses; the hot-water lines are made of stainless steel. With fast heat-up, programmable espresso and Americano doses, an integrated shot timer, and two pressure gauges, the Coast combines a classic barista workflow with modern electronic control.
