The Arkel Coast is a compact dual-boiler espresso machine designed for demanding home baristas who want stable temperature, powerful steam, and manual extraction control in a home-friendly countertop format.
Two independent stainless steel boilers allow for simultaneous espresso preparation and steaming, while PID control and an electrically heated saturated brew group maintain precise temperature at the brew head. A special advantage of the Coast is its manual flow control via a stainless steel needle valve system, which enables shaping the extraction from pre-infusion to the end of the shot.
The internal construction follows the same principle as the external design – robust and serviceable. Arkel states that there are no plastic hoses in the hot water circuit; instead, hot-water lines are made of stainless steel. With fast heat-up, programmable shot and Americano doses, an integrated shot timer, and two pressure gauges, the Coast combines classic barista workflow with modern electronic control.
