Arkel Tide espresso machine

Arkel Tide is a compact dual-boiler espresso machine with a gear pump, developed for users who want quiet operation, precise flow profiling, and the ability to connect directly to water and drainage. With a central body width of just 275 mm, the Tide brings the ergonomics of a serious café setup into a format suitable for home use.

The continuous gear pump ensures stable flow without the pulsation characteristic of vibratory pumps, while electronic flow control and a needle valve allow for precise extraction shaping. PID temperature control, programmable pre-infusion, shot timer, and programmable doses provide a high level of control without complicating the daily workflow.

Like the Coast, the Tide is constructed with a focus on durability and serviceability. Arkel states that there are no plastic hoses in the hot water circuit; instead, the hot-water lines between the electronically controlled boilers are made of stainless steel. With fast heating, a plumb-in option, and separate boilers for coffee and steam, the Tide is designed for demanding home baristas who want a more professional setup without a large footprint.
